2 Corinthians 5:8 states we are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. I waited for your call and when it never came I began searching for you Randy, for days, I looked and I absolutely could not find you. I was so sure you were out doing what you did best, helping someone. When the call came that you had died I felt the break that came across my heart. The search was over, God had called my sidekick, my road dog, my brother, and best friend for almost 63 years home to rest. We were looking forward to celebrating your birthday, as we always did, but God had other plans. My life will never be the same without you, but after the rain, I know the sun will shine again. Rest easy brother until we meet again. I will always love and miss you, Randy.

May God comfort you today. And the family in this time of sorrow. May GOD give you and the family peace.

Sometimes, the burdens of life feel so heavy, we stress about things that in the moment, we feel are so important, and we forget about the promises and blessings from GOD, and his command to seek him in all things and let him guide us. We don't always understand why things happen like they do. Or why our loved ones leave us too soon. Randy is resting peacefully in God's arms, whatever ailments he had are no longer. He has been made whole.
