My sincere condolences to the Stevenson Family. Growing up in Guthrie positioned us to be able to say we have known each other all of our lives. I had the opportunity to get to know Mr. Stevenson very well during my time at Langston University. He was an excellent example in many facets, especially in his role as a police officer. His family was very important to him and he shared life lessons with me in that regard. I learned a great deal from him that I will never forget. He had a long life and may he rest in peace.
