I met Norma at the airport in Las Vegas over a decade ago. Since then, she’s been a constant part of me and my mother’s life, as she was able to meet her on numerous occasions. We exchanged calls, birthday and Christmas gifts and plenty of laughs. She called me her niece and I will forever miss our late night calls and meetings at casinos when I came to Vegas on business for so many years. Condolences to the family and roommate Scott from NC.

We had soap operas in common and I remember filling her in whenever she missed them. She was brilliant in knowing what was going to happen next. She amazed me with her stories of her life and how she filled about life now. We became very good friends. Scott told me of her passing. I wept for her and I didn’t get to say bye to her but will remember her fondly. May you rest in peace Norma. I will meet you by the beautiful river.
