I hadn't seen Derwin in a number of years but when we did see each other we cut up just like old times. We grew up close with our Eastside partners balling at every gym and park in OKC but after I moved out of the city we loss contact. Still I never forgot his jovial spirit, his smooth basketball skills, and his overall goodness. This world definitely lost a good man. To the family, the word tells us that weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning Psalm 30:5. I know nothing I can say could soften the blow of losing Derwin however find comfort in God's word and just know you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Derwin rest well.
