Betty student-taught under my mom, Nancy Randolph Davis, who was a Home Economics teacher at Dunjee High School. Years later, when my mom retired as Vocational Child Care instructor at Star Spencer High School, she recommended Betty to be her replacement. Betty then succeeded her as SSHS'S Child Care instructor. My mom and our family continued to hold a special place in our hearts for Betty. Just knowing that she is no longer with us is discomforting. However, we are thankful for the times we spent with her. Our prayers for strength and comfort are with Betty's family.
