My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I grew up and attended church with Banks. Rode my first dirt bike with him and my cousin Melvin. I thank God that I got to visit with him in Hennepin not long ago and reminisce about the good ole days growing up as country kids. Banks was a country man in heart. He is now with our Heavenly Father. No more pain. Fly high Banks.

I was blessed to meet Mr. Banks Stevenson at an interview for a job with Southwestern Bell in Lawton back in 1981. There were 2 openings for an operator and a Clerical job. Banks as we called him, said, I think the clerical job would be better for you and I'm going to put you there. That stuck with me through out the years, and I know that God placed him there to place me in a position that allowed me to work 38 years. Whenever I needed answers or assistance with problems during my employment years, I could call him for advice or answers and will always remember him. Family, I am sure you know that Mr. Banks Stevenson was sent by God to be a gift to your family as well as others he came into contact with. Prayers and condolences to you all.

My Dear Friend Betty, my heart breaks for you. You have been my confidant and support for years. In my greatest time of need, I would share with you what I needed, and you would say, "Banks can do that." Every time I came up with something new, you would say, "Banks can do that" And he did! He was a God send to me. Banks knew how to get things done, and he blessed me many times over with his kindness and willingness to help me. He will be missed.
