I often hung out at Roland's house when his dear friend & singing partner, my brother James, came to town. He opened his home to my brother & his wife as long as I can remember. He told me about his garden & gave away a lot of his harvest, he even sent purple hull peas to James' wife Linda in Seattle. He was a joy to be around as was his beautiful wife Linda. I'm also friends with Sharon from childhood. Roland always sang for The Lord & I'm sure he was singing in the corridors of Light as he approached the welcoming hands & face of Jesus.
