Ken, I was filled with delirious emotion when told about your sudden death. You deserved stellar tributes because you contributed a lot to various excellent projects. In my opinion, you sacrificed your life on Earth so that people round you could become one. In so doing, you became a beacon of hope and oneness, and I salute you. You captured our hearts and dedicated your life to serve and to help other people as a distinguished executive chef and lay preacher now posthumously a lay evangelist inspired by Maa, Rev. Dr Rosa Mills. You've left a legacy of hope and oneness. In a nutshell, you were a oneness icon and gives the true implication of the greatest use of life is to spend it for something that will outlast it. You've certainly done that and have inspired the very best in all of us. Your legacy will continue to do so for many years to come. You were the catalyst that sparked a tsunami-like positive energy on Kens angels platform which is extremely active. For that , I'll always be eternally grateful. Thank you Ken. In the midst of our collective grief we the Mills family cherish the shining example you gave of hope and oneness bundled in the seven 'ones '- one body, one spirit, one hope, one Lord, one faith , one baptism and one God and Father. The flame may have gone out but the light of your indomitable spirit remains, illuminating our path through everything. Ken your unfaltering optimism brought us together in hope and oneness displayed several fold in Gospel songs and hymns on Kens angels platform. You stood proud as an embodiment of all things good and fine, and polite , with a kind disposition. In your salad days, you were sometimes mischievous, playful but caring and your charismatic smile was always evident. Smile, smile, smile again in eternity. These words in the book of Ecclesiastes couldn't be truer this moment in time: There is a time to mourn, and a time to dance( Azonto). The time to mourn Ken is now! The time to celebrate him will come . I remain in acute mild to moderate shock but gradually getting to the point of inevitable realisation and subsequent acceptance that you've left us. Thank you for everything Ken. Rest in eternal peace. Your loving brother, Bay Nii.

I remember you as a gentle, easy-going and helpful nephew. You showed care and understanding in many ways. You have left too early and you leave a void. Sadly, as you take your eternal exit, rest in everlasting peace. Uncle James.

To my awesome brother Ken, you fought a good fight and perserved against all odds! I will playback all the good times we had; no matter how busy your day was, you would either talk or call back after a couple of minutes. A simple "hello" with you turns into an hour or two of explosive banter; your witty conversations and infectious laughter were priceless. Oh how I will miss that! I was anxiously waiting on your 60th party you ecstatically spoke of,but hey, God knows best! I will reminisce on these which will keep me going. We are so thankful to be a part of your life; you were an epitome of hard work, love and humility . Our Lord Jesus Christ, His Angels and His Saints welcome you home. Rest well my Kenny Boy!! Love Ckor

I have known Ken Mills since we were 13yrs old at Accra Academy form one Michigan Hall. We had so much in common. Similar backgrounds sense of humor, and a desire to have fun. We have been best friends to date. So many day-to-day activities remind me of Ken. In my minds eye I have replayed events and experiences with Ken over and over. We both moved on from Accra Academy and reconnected in the US in the early eighties. Over time we became each other’s counselor. If I have an issue and I cannot discuss with anyone, I could discuss it with Ken and expect a straight honest answer even if it wasn’t what I wanted to hear. I did the same for him. For those of you who grew up with us, I am sure you never imagined Ken as a master Chef. I spent a week with Ken, Christie and Cyril during an audit engagement in Oklahoma City. Ken insisted I bring the team to his restaurant “Cajun King” every night. To date my team still talk about Ken’s Cat-Fish dinner. Ken prepared most of the menu items himself. Ken you have left a void in my heart that cannot be filled. All the retirement plans we discussed are on hold. God has better plans for you. I will hold on to the memories and save your place in my heart till we meet again. Ken rest comfortably in the bosom of the Lord. Ken, Yaa Wo Gdzogbaa.

Even though I spoke with Ken almost everyday, the last time I saw him in the flesh was when he came down to The Colony, TX for his restaurant, grand opening. Unfortunately, the restaurant would meet an untimely close due to the pandemic. The week before the opening, he had sent me flyers marketing for employment opportunities, and free food for the 1st 100 customers to stop by. On opening day, little did I know I would have to take a two hour lunch break from work and two of my colleagues, to help him with a smooth transition into the opening process. Ken was such loving, straightforward, and kind hearted man. Furthermore, He was hard working and dedicated to whatever big dreams he had. This has been too hard for me to bare. My brother and friend, I will surely miss you! May your lovely and loving soul Rest In Peace 🙏🏽❤️

My dear brother Ken, it is hard to believe you are gone. I am sad to see you go Ken, will never hear your voice again or see you laugh, however I know that you are not mine to keep. The Lord has called you home and so I must let you go. Death is a heartache only God can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. So my dear brother, I say farewell. Thank you for all your loving memories and thank you for being a wonderful and adorable brother. Your sister Marian Naa-Lamiley Mills.
