What an amazing person and what a remarkable life and career. I am very grateful to have known her. Praying that Mrs. Parks' family and friends will find comfort in their memories of her and in the knowledge that the community will be missing her, too.

Well, It was just a few months ago that I spoke with this "Remarkable" Woman. I had purpose to have called Her last week, but did not, and today I find that She has made Her Departure. As my Teacher in the Class of "65," She made a Profound Impact on my life because of the Professional Skills that She manifested in Her Classroom, and with Her students. Because of Mrs. Parks, I believe that I am able to say, "that many of us former students have the "skills" of Communication." The Last time that I spoke with Her, I told Her so, Because of who She was, I could say so much more, but it would not be practical to do so. The Reece Family were a Unique Family of Educators. She had a remarkable Sister of stature here in Southern California. I "must" bring my expressions to a close. GOD Bless Her daughter. Your Mother told me a few months ago that She spent sometime with You in an out of State visit. To other Family members, this Chapter now closes, but wonderful Memories remain. Elder C.D. Knowles, Jr Los Angeles, California

My prayers and condolences go out the family of Mrs. Parks. She was one of my elementary and high school teachers. She was one of the best teachers I had in school and just a special person. I remember how excited she was when she had her daughter. She was an example of what an educator and person should be. May God continue to be with you in your time of bereavement. She truly will be missed not only by her students but the community. True class.

God knows your heartache and shares your grief. I have known Miss parts for a few years now and I really enjoyed her company when we talked about the Bible on a regular basis. I will truly miss her. She would always refer to my daughter (Toni Caesar) as "My little sister" she loved hearing her say this when we would visit. Your mom will always be remembered. We truly loved her.

To the Family, Although she was not my teacher, I am glad to have known Mrs Parks as a club advisor while I was in high school. Then I really got to know her when we worked as Board members of the Langston Univ Alumni Association. As time passed, I subsequently became her soror in AKA and her sister in Top Ladies of Distinction. In all of these capacities, she stood out and represented one of the best and most committed. I am thankful and feel very blessed! To God be the glory!!????????
