She was always helpful, pleasant, and kind to me and so many others during our visits to the Ralph Ellison Library here in Oklahoma City - Northeast. I don't know if Minthe realized just how much her pleasant smile and soft tone really meant to us. However, I'm at peace knowing that I shared these thoughts with her many times while she was at Ralph Ellison Library and after her retirement when I would see her from time to time about our city. I am so thankful that Minthe, Betty Germany, and the late Theresa Oliver were on the seen during my growthful period of needing assistance at our local "African American History - Focused" Library, their positive presence truly made a difference that extended to the greater community.
