May God comfort you today. I had the privilege to be a Lincolnite, co-worker and friend. My sons loved her physical beauty, kindness and delicious food. Pearl will be missed. Will keep you in my prayers.

We hold so many fond memories of Pearl, Robert and Bernard. Such a wonderful servant family who was deeply blessed and who shared their blessings with others. May God bless Sister Pearl's soul and spirit and may He bless, keep and comfort the family

My deepest sympathy is extended to Bernard and the Ward/Reese Family regarding the demise of Soror Ella Pearl Ward Reese. Both Mr. and Mrs. Reese were like family to my mom, Nancy Randolph Davis. The Ward Family of Stillwater, Ok. opened their home to my mom when she was initially denied admission to OSU and an opportunity to live on campus. When she was eventually admitted as the first African American student to OSU, she lived with the Ward Family and formed a lasring bond with Ella Pearl and the entire Ward Family. Mrs. Reese was so encouraging to me and other young people. She was an excellent, dedicated eductor. She was also a committed member of Greater Cleaves C.M.E. Church. We will certainly miss her; however, we are thankful that she is glowing with happiness as she has joined her dear husbnd, Mr. Robert Reese, her parents, sister, and friends who have previously transitioned to their Heavenly Home.

Bernard may God comfort you. Pearl and my mom worked together at Truman school’s Learning Center. Years later I worked with your father, Robert (Bob), at Oklahoma City Schools. I will never forget them.

Mrs. Reese was a wonderful soul, always kind, as treated my brothers and me like her own sons. You live forever in our memories.
