Iโ€™ve been honored to have a few conversations with Mr. Dennis while being a friend to his daughter Denia. When I first saw him I was in awe of the character that was displayed when I would speak to him. I felt a sense of comfort and trust in him. There were so many of Gods characteristics in him. To know He gets to be with his heavenly brings me peace and unspeakable joy. God gets to rejoice in eternity with his good ole pal Dennis

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Dennis' passing. We communicated via LinkedIn in June, and he made no mention of his illness. Working with him in a support role at Bristol-Myers Squibb was such a joy! He was a consummate professional, a gentleman, had a humble spirit, and was a model servant-leader. To you and your children, Delcenia, Russell and I offer our deepest sympathy, and want you to know you will be in our prayers. Over the years, we've reminisced with fondness about our visit to St. Louis, MO several years ago. You and Dennis picked us up from our hotel, so we could experience the famous soul food restaurant, Sweetie Pie's first-hand. The fellowship and camaraderie we shared that night was more enjoyable than the food itself. :) Thanks for allowing us to be a part of your life. With love, Kathryn & Russell Thomas

I am proud to have known and worked with Dennis for some 25 years. Being of the same age and having many of the same life, work and family experiences, we often spent time together at meetings, dinners, excursions, etc. We talked often and enjoyed one another's company. Most importantly, we trusted each other so we could be free and frank in our talks. I have never met a better man and I doubt if I ever will. Living in different cities, we never met one another's families, but I would like Delcinia, Denia, and Dion to know that I consider Dennis a close friend and brother and I hope you will call on me if I can ever be of any assistance.
