Loss of a great man. Tiny, we are here when you need us. Grief doesn't just show up the day they die Grief shows up on a random Monday night Grief shows up in aisle five at the grocery store Grief shows up when they're favorite song comes on the radio Grief shows up at the dining room table Grief shows up at your graduation and wedding Grief shows up in the delivery room when they aren't by your side or in the pictures Grief shows up on those sleepless nights Grief shows up when the phone rings and it isn't them Grief shows up when you go to dial their number and realize they'll never answer again Grief shows up time and time again always unexpected and never invited Grief doesn't just show up the day they die

We lost a very gentle man with Jon's passing. He was a professional businessman, but a very good soul. He'll be missed by family, friends, and numerous business partners and friends he happened to conduct business with. I am glad to have known him, though for a short while, it reminds me of how short our time here on the rock is. And, we know Jon is in a better place. RIP my friend. Matt, Andrea & Megan

Praying for peace and comfort and warm memories. Didn't see cousin Jon very often, but always thought of him as the strong silent type. We mourn but at the same time rejoice he is home with the Lord and his family.

Ryan, our deepest condolences on the passing of your father. -Steve and Henrietta Smoot Soldier, rest! thy warfare o'er, Sleep the sleep that knows not breaking: Dream of battled fields no more, Days of danger, nights of waking. In our isle's enchanted hall, Hands unseen thy couch are strewing, Fairy strains of music fall, Every sense in slumber dewing. Soldier, rest! thy warfare o'er, Dream of fighting fields no more: Sleep the sleep that knows not breaking, Morn of toil, nor night of waking. – Sir Walter Scott
