Sincere condolences to the family. I met Mrs. Menser at Pleasant Hill Elementary School, she and my uncle, the late Vernon Rider, both retired educators, went on all their grandkids (in my case great nephew and niece) field trips and school activities. They loved it! I will never forget her kind words to me when he passed. May she rest in peace.

It saddens my heart to learn of Sylvia's death. We were coworkers for many years at Eisenhower and Hoover Middle Schools and we worked well together. We shared and inspired each other and I will miss her. Heaven is a little brighter today and earth's sunlight is diminished some without Sylvia's ray of sunshine in it. God be with her family and give them comfort and peace, today and always.
