Today has been one of the hardest days I've had in awhile. I miss you already Grandma. Thank you for your unconditional love, endless support, and countless encouragement over the years. I will miss our talks and hugs especially the cuddles we used to have while watching Law & Order. I'm completely lost for words at this point but I can still smile from all the amazing memories we shared. I love you with all my heart and more. To my family, I wish us all strength, peace, and knowing that the love of God shall carry us through this.

I am so sorry for the family’s loss. There are few words that describe the pain of losing a loved one. May you find comfort however, from the future promise recorded in 1 Corinthians 15:26 which says “the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.” This is a promise from God and we can be sure he will fulfill his promises.

The promises God made are all true. My sincerest condolences to the family for your loss. May you find some comfort in the resurrection hope at John 5:28,29 where all in the memorial tombs will hear Jesus voice and come out. God also promises to do away with sickness at Isa. 33:24 and get rid of death at Rev. 21:4. Please know you are in my prayers.

John words not are not adequate to express our sympathy for your loss. Both Phyllis and I experienced losing our mothers. Our mothers were born at a time that really challenged what it meant to be black women, raise a family and give the support needed for them to succeed in life. I am still learning to appreciate all that I received. These women were giants in all that they managed to accomplish and pass on to us. I can tell by the comments on the funeral home site, Mary Townsend was such a person. Love Mac & Phyllis Townsend Tiffany Townsend
