You are in my prayers. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. - - - PSALM 23

Well, It has happened again, a fine and loving Saint has made their departure. I shall NEVER for Mother Brown, a wonderful woman of character and spiritual insight, a hard worker, devoted to family and an ardent believer in the principals of her Church of God in Christ faith. I remember her service to our church as Church Mother of the Nealy's Temple Church of God in Christ, well over 40 years ago. It was just eight months ago that my family sat in this same sit, and yes, it's not an experience without heartfelt hurt. So, respectfully, Coyett, Bernae, and Robert, the blessings of the Lord be upon each of you as you lay your Mother to a much needed rest, ninety-five years in reality is not a very long time when it comes to this juncture of life. But I do assure you, that with God's help, you will get through this, though you will never get over it. Lastly, I'm so very glad that my wife had the opportunity to have met Mother Brown on one of her many trips to our city. I've said so much, and have not even begain to say the many things that I could say, therefore, continue to look to Him, Jesus! Today, your brother in Christ, Eld. Knowles
